DJ Den-Megavolt (Denis Kotov) started as a salsa/bachata DJ in 2010 at dance school parties in Russia. After few years he began playing in various cities in Russia as well as for several big Russian festivals and congresses. In 2013, he became one of four nominees (out of 100+) for “DJ of the year 2013” by Salsa Night Awards. He was an official bachata mix creator for the Bachata Guinness World Record, in St. Petersburg in 2015 (more than 200 couples). Lived and played in Moscow and Saint Petersburg for several years. 

Denis became an international DJ in 2018, played in multiple events in Stockholm including IDance’s Bachata Friday and El Grande parties, Dance Republic, Stockholm Salsa Dance, Palacavicchi in Rome and the Native Bar in Malta. He has played at international festivals in Malta, Hamburg, Rome, Gran Canaria and in Hurghada at Egypt Sensual Festival. During the pandemic, he played live on the online streams of Bachata Sensual Radio. In 2021, he began DJ courses and started playing Kizomba. Denis shares his live set recordings on SoundCloud and MixCloud. In 2022, he moved to Stockholm and became a regular DJ at many events there.
