Andreas & Ingrid

Andreas Källman

Andreas attended his first Salsa course in 1999 at Mälarsalens dance school in Stockholm. The style that appealed the most to him when he started his dance career was the Cuban salsa and today he dances most styles of Salsa. Andreas has received inspiration from many teachers both nationally and internationally and has danced at a variety of dance schools. He has traveled to several Latin American countries to develop his dance technique, including Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Colombia. He has also been involved in many shows and performed at international congresses.

Competitions:

Andreas is, together with Ingrid Fonseca is the reigning Swedish champion in Bachata. Andreas competed for the first time in 2012 when he took 1st place in the SM in Bachata together with Matilda Tuomela. He also won Bachata SM 2013 and came 3rd in 2014. In 2015 he competed for the first time with Frida Ekström and they won the silver in Swedish Bachata Stars. In 2017 and 2018 Andreas and Ingrid took first place and Andreas is now a threefold Swedish Master in Bachata. Andreas started teaching courses in Salsa and Bachata in 2009 and is today an experienced instructor. What you can expect when you go to his lessons is a lot of laughter, joy and that you are constantly learning something new.

Ingrid Lozano Fonseca

Born in Bogota, Colombia, Ingrid is a professional dancer who trained at the National Pedagogical University in Bogota as a teacher of Physical Education and Dance. She is educated in ballet technique, pop dance, folk dance and gymnastics and is a former member of the world famous dance group SWING LATINO from Cali, Colombia and founder of Afrolatina Dance.
